Or maybe he should. For as long as I can remember, 5 star recruits have been flocking to Penn State only to be lost in the anonymity of royal blue and white. However, the Lebanon Daily News of Lebanon, PA (not the other, Pryor isn't that important yet) comes up with 4 interesting reasons "Why PSU is Primed for Pryor":
Reason 1: Penn State will protect Pryor
Reason 2: He needs someone he can trust
Reason 3: The father
Reason 4: The offense. Really.
We at JTsHead would like to offer a rebuttal. We would attempt satire, but Frank Bodani satirizes himself almost better than we could do. I mean, who wouldn't question the integrity of Jim Tressel's recruiting with facts or an explanation?
Reason 1: Penn State will protect Pryor: Just ask them. Or him. Besides, the cops will even look out for you at Ohio State.
Reason 2: He needs someone he can trust: Like JoePa. Or JayPa. Or the red headed dude.
Reason 3: The father: Pryor's dad remembers 1982, and not 2007.
Reason 4: The offense. Really. : Just ask 4th round pick Michael Robinson, RB for the San Fransisco 49ers.
Listen. I love Joe Paterno, he's an icon. He's 1290 years old and could still kick my ass. I saw him take a grown man to the knee and try to walk it off. I just think TP might want to talk to Anthony Morelli and Derrick Williams (Dan Connor worked out just fine). Correct answers could include:
1) It's the home state school. 2) You tell US what YOU want to do on offense. or 3) It's the home state school.
